MEET VEX.
TRACE THE LANGUAGE.

Vex is Cybercore’s own language experiment: a compact interpreter and typed-IR prototype for learning how syntax becomes behavior, diagnostics, and backend output.

ALPHA BOUNDARYDarkwaveCode can edit and save Vex source as a local template, but it cannot run Vex in the browser yet. The interpreter runs through the Vex CLI; QBE output is experimental intermediate code, not a native executable.SOURCE ↗

01 / INTERPRETER SIGNALS

SMALL LANGUAGE.
REAL SYSTEMS THINKING.

Choose a sample to explore Vex syntax. Load it into the Workbench to edit and save your own draft, or run it locally with the Vex CLI.

01 / VALUES

Typed signals

Give a value an explicit type, compose an expression, and inspect the interpreter’s final value.

02 / FROM SOURCE TO SIGNAL

READ IT.
RUN IT LOCALLY.

The Vex CLI separates interpreting a program from validating and inspecting its lowered form. Each command reports its actual boundary clearly.

INTERPRETcargo run -- run program.vex
TYPE CHECKcargo run -- check program.vex
INSPECT TYPED IRcargo run -- build program.vex
EXPERIMENTAL QBE ILcargo run -- qbe program.vex

QBE currently supports only the verified scalar target subset and emits intermediate IL; it does not build a native executable.

MAKE IT YOUR LANGUAGE.

Start with a guided three-module track, browse the source and roadmap, then bring a sample into your local DarkwaveCode workspace.
